Widows Sons Scotland Masonic Riders Association (WSSMRA) & Duncarron Medieval Village (DMV)
- Both WSSMRA and DMV advise that in the unlikely occurrence that our ‘Branding’ event has to be cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond our control, we cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by the event attendee.
- All Branding ticket purchases are non-refundable as supplier costs need to be paid up front.
- All event profits support the chosen charities of WSSMRA.
- There may be a WSSMRA photographer present at the event and by attending you give us permission to use any general crowd photos you appear in on our website or for marketing purposes.
- Chapter officials/helpers are responsible for their own Chapter members and any behaviour deemed unacceptable by WSS at their discretion, may result in the entire Chapter being excluded from the Branding events. No ticket refunds will be issued.
WSSMRA/DMV and their suppliers do not accept responsibility and expressly excludes liability to the fullest extent permitted by law for:
- Any loss or damage to any personal property during the event
- Death or any personal injury suffered by you at the event
DMV Protocols and advisory notes
- Νο fireworks / fires / bbq’s are permitted within
- Photography is strictly not permitted within DMV during the Saturday evening branding events.
- This is an OUTDOOR / CAMPING event so please bring clothes & kit suitable for the time of year and extreme Scottish weather including snow & ice. We suggest carrying a form of personal torch at all times.
- The camping area, car parks, paths up to the FORT, and inside the FORT itself can be muddy, slippy and unlit. Please exercise great personal care and be aware of your location at all times. There are no disabled facilities in the FORT.
- WS GUEST Chapter members visiting are kindly asked to refrain from riding displaying ‘back patches’ in Scotland.
- Any attendee deemed to be under the influence of alcohol and/or acting in an aggressive manner will not be permitted inside the FORT.
- There will be portable toilets on site – There use is mandatory, no exceptions –
Duncarron hosts visitors & guests including children – So we are all expected to use the facilities WSS are providing to keep the fort hygienic, you may have to walk 50 yards or so to get to them, but USE them – THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL - Non Brandee’s are expected to assist with the running of the branding – If you
haven’t been allocated a task before the branding – You will be allocated one at the branding by the chapter officials – Many hands make light work This is not Optional - All attendees will assist with the clean up & reinstatement of the fort before departure on Sunday.
- Wild Haggis roam in the surrounding woods. They may bite. Do not approach them.
In summary, we will endeavour to make the Branding as enjoyable as possible for the Brandee’s & Attendees, but ultimately your safety is your own responsibility – IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS – ASK !!!
